More About Me
Personal Profile
As a journalist, I believe that it is extremely important to have the full picture. In order to fulfill this, I want to talk more about who I am and what I want to do in the world. One of my most prominent identities is being a lesbian, and I have spent a lot of time advocating for queer youth and fighting against homophobia. I deal with homophobia, both overt and covert, on a daily basis and I truly believe that helping queer youth will be a big part of my future.
I am a self-described raging feminist and I am especially focused on reproductive justice. My fight for reproductive rights is extremely apparent in my writing, and I hope to get involved in the political and advocacy side of this fight during college. I am thirsty for knowledge and I love learning, especially when I am able to use what I have learned to better the world around me.
